Would a beginners' introduction to computers course increase the productivity of your Spanish speaking personnel?

Our "Welcome to Computers for English Language Learners" course will be held again in February 2012 .

 Instructor Dave Joswick, fluent in several languages and cultures,

helps bridge the needs between the ELL community and computer literacy.

The classes cover basic computer concepts, Microsoft Windows, Word processing, as well as an introduction to

the Internet and email usage with plenty of hands-on practice opportunities.

Our goal is to help those new to the English language learn the skills to communicate with family and friends around the world,

create an effective resume, and increase self-confidence and their value to their employer.

 Participants should have at least a low to intermediate English reading and comprehension proficiency to attend this class.

The course material will be in English, with explanations and support provided in Spanish for this first series of classes.

 We anticipate expanding our class offerings to include other languages in the future.
